AGS announced this week that the company will feature a new brand identity and its largest showcase ever at the Global Gaming Expo October 6-9 at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas. At Booth #1150, AGS will showcase 86 slot titles, eight table games with multiple progressives, side bets, card shufflers, and a dedicated AGSi zone, AGS’ Interactive division.
The company also will unveil a new bolt icon that reflects AGS’ transformation since its last rebrand in 2014, when the company’s name was American Gaming Systems.
“Our new bolt logo reflects the energy and transformation happening within AGS,” AGS President and CEO David Lopez said in a statement. “We’ve grown from an ambitious challenger to a dynamic leader without losing the authenticity and creativity that built our culture. Every product is purpose-built to help our partners elevate and differentiate their players’ experience. G2E is the perfect stage to showcase our future as we expand our portfolio and footprint worldwide.”
During the past decade, AGS has transformed from a Class II slot supplier starting to break into Class III slots and just entering the table games market into a global supplier with slots, table products, and online content. AGS has expanded into 26 countries.
The timing of the rebrand marks a new chapter of growth after AGS’ acquisition by Brightstar Capital Partners this year. According to a news release, the company recently has doubled global slot sales, increased interactive revenue by more than 150%, and grown table revenue by more than 50%.
AGS also has expanded to eight global R&D studios, including one dedicated to online game development.
Highlights at G2E include the debut of the Spectra SL75+ Premium cabinet; proven mechanical reel performance on Revel; the debut of Flex games available across all Spectra cabinets; AGSi content with strong omnichannel partnerships; and AGS’ table innovation Bonus Spin Xtreme with a new enhancement, AGS FlexBet.
