Xpoint appoints Ron Braunfeld new chief revenue officer

Geolocation and compliance technology company Xpoint Monday announced that Ron Braunfeld will serve as its new chief revenue officer.

Braunfeld has more than 12 years of experience in the geolocation sector. He most recently was Mobi Systems’ vice president of business development, and served as general manager for Philadelphia at Capsule.

“We are delighted to welcome Ron to our executive team as chief tevenue officer,” said Xpoint CEO Manu Gambhir in a statement. “His extensive experience and impressive achievements in business development and sales within the technology and venture capital industries will be invaluable as we expand our offering and strengthen our market position.”

Braunfeld also has worked for companies including MapQuest, Where, Inc. (which was sold to PayPal), Snip Snap, and Pingup. With Xpoint, Braunfeld will be responsible for the company’s revenue generation efforts, enhancing client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities
