Pennsylvania will welcome its third online poker network on Monday, July 12, when WSOP.com goes live.
WSOP PA will offer poker to players in the Keystone State through the land-based casino license of Harrah’s Philadelphia casino and its partnership with UK gaming giant 888. Both the casino and the WSOP brand are owned by Caesars Interactive Entertainment (CIE).
A two- or three-day soft launch period is expected, during which the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) will conduct tests to ensure the site operates smoothly.
WSOP PA will only be available to players physically located in Pennsylvania, and its player pool will initially be ring-fenced.
