Halo LED Edge Lit Displays – screens with a smart LED surround frame

The HALO technology is what CDS call their range of gaming monitors with integrated BRIGHT MULTICOLOUR LED illumination which is designed to act as an attractor to GRAB the user’s attention or to a trigger an event within the game during operation.  CDS use Smart LED’s so every Tricolour LED in the frame is independently addressed to give an almost unlimited number of colour combinations. CDS have the option of an integrated LED controller that can accept serials command over USB (using a built in USB to RS232 conversion), or the LED halo can be addressed directly via SPI using industry standard LED protocols.

CDS love their range of captivating LED edge lit “Halo” displays so much that they are bringing 5 to the show! A 10.1″ (the world’s smallest), a 27″, a 43″, a curved 43″ with halo effect and a circular LCD with halo. All with PCAP touch interaction.

Bespoke shapes – buttons decks, curved and circular displays

Traditionally TFT LCD screens have been in industrial format of either 4:3 (traditional monitor) or 16:9 (TV) aspect ratios. Sometimes these ratios do not meet the requirements. Developments in processes have massively improved to allow more flexibility in the design. This ranges from bending or curving the screen, through to cutting original displays to form stretch ‘button deck’ touch monitors. Crystal Display Systems are at the forefront of these technologies offering a wide range of bespoke shape monitors.

  • C-curved / J-curved / S-curved
  • PCAP touch & non-touch options
  • Bespoke / semi-brochure designs
  • Panoramic displays up to 77″ diagonal
  • Button decks
  • Attention grabbing circular displays

Curved Displays

A high-end statement piece for casino slot machines, entertainments kiosks, sports betting, lottery, bingo applications, and more.

CDS offer J curved, C curved, with and without PCAP and with and without LED halo. From 27″ to 55″ display sizes.

Encourage greater customer interaction with halo displays with high-speed processing, image quality and touch accuracy.

State of the art high performance displays with a strong and rugged housing for maximum protection.

In addition to this CDS will have a newly launched 23.6″ bar top curved monitor with PCAP touch which will make an appearance on their G2E stand.

Industrial tablets for gaming

Maybe your game needs the helping hand of an industrial designed, commercial tablet that will not let you down in vigorous play?

CDS are bringing two examples of their enterprise tablets range from their incredible partner, Glorystar.

Two tablets to play with on their stand including the android-based Nebula and the impressive Jarvis meeting room tablet.

The Nebula Industrial Android Tablet combines commercial grade reliability with a powerful processor and a wide assortment of optional peripherals such as magnetic card swipe, RFID/NFC & barcode readers that enable users to customize the solution to meet their requirements.

The industrial design and reliability make it suitable for use in public kiosks, gaming machines, system terminals, digital catalogues, employee access control, corporate check-in, restaurant self-ordering, hotel check-in and more.

This CDS solution is designed for commercial environments with a supported 3-year supply, running Android 9.0, and high-quality LCD screens.

Powerful and durable tablets which are built to last with 10 points of touch, flexible mounting options, optional PoE, API third party integration, 4G, and more.

Stretched “button deck” Displays

Button decks are vital displays within gaming cabinets and receive frequent user interaction during play. This means they need to be robust, stable, and diverse and the CDS range is all three of these and more.

Designed with high impact resistance the CDS range of stretched displays are perfect for gaming. Display sizes from 6.2″ to 77″.

Show-stopper Transparent Displays

Transparent LCD Displays allow you to display information / promotions on a digital display, whilst allowing you to see through it. Creating an opportunity for a “hide and reveal” effect for any objects behind the screen. CDS transparent displays are available from 12″ to 86″ with PCAP touch, “3D” effect with a dual screen solution, and customised options. Available as either panels and kits for integration into designs or as finished showcase boxed solutions.

CDS has increased the use of transparent technology across the world and outside of the retail sphere, with industrial uses and gaming installations becoming more and more prevalent.

Bespoke & Legacy – CDS design solutions exactly to meet your needs

A large part of CDS’ gaming business is based on offering support solutions for existing designs. This could be down to a spares contract or supplying products into new cabinet builds where a manufacturer is looking for a second source / cost down etc. CDS aim to offer a competitive solution which is an EXACT match to the existing product. This includes mechanics and electrical interfaces; CDS’ strategy is that the CDS solution will be a seamless solution.
