Westgate Resorts restructures executive roles

Westgate Resorts, a Florida operator of real estate and casinos across the United States, has restructured its executive leadership team.

The aims for 2025 include expanding operational capabilities, improving financial management and advancing marketing and development initiatives. Westgate operates a variety of businesses across the United States, including sports betting through its Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas.

Among the new team members to oversee is Mitch Less, appointed Chief Operating Officer. He has more than 35 years of industry experience from serving as a Partner at Grant Thornton and past roles with Ritz-Carlton, Marriott and Hilton. At Westgate Resorts, Less will oversee tasks related to resort operations, IT, risk management and more.

John Willman has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer. He has worked with Westgate since 1994. In addition to leading Westgate’s financial operations, Willman also has been appointed to the board of the American Resort Development Association.

Jared Saft has been promoted to Chief Business & Strategy Officer. He has been with Westgate for 18 years and played a key role in launching its loyalty program. Saft will continue to lead marketing, hotel sales, product development, owner services and oversight of Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino and Human Resources. He also serves as Chair-Elect of ARDA.

Other changes include Dana Wadsworth’s promotion to Chief of Staff, Garrett Stump’s appointment as Senior Vice President of Owner Services and Inventory Management, Chad Severance’s appointment as Senior Vice President of Development and Design and Alex Velazquez’s promotion to Senior Vice President of Digital Marketing and Creative Services.

David Alexander Siegel and Daniel Siegel have been appointed as Co-Vice Presidents of Real Estate, while Heather Tritchel and Sam King have been moved to Senior Vice Presidents of Specialty Marketing.
