Washington: Stillaguamish Tribe donates to first responders

The Stillaguamish Tribe in Arlington, Washington, recently announced donations to two emergency service first responders.

The Snohomish County Fire District #21, which provides fire protection services for Arlington and Darrington, received $200,000. The Snohomish County Fire District #25, which provides fire protection services for Granite Falls and Monroe, received $196,700. 

“Our Tribe is committed to supporting our neighbors in their time of need,” said Stillaguamish Tribe Tribal Chairman Eric White in a statement. 

The Stillaguamish Tribe, located about 45 miles north of Seattle, runs the Angel of the Winds Casino Resort in Arlington.
