Washington: Stillaguamish Tribe donates $500,000 to local charities

The Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians in Arlington, Washington, this week announced five donations of $100,000 each to local charities.

The recipients are:

  • Arlington Food Bank
  • A Christmas Wish
  • Bender’s One Big Give benefiting the Seattle Children’s Hospital Foundation
  • The Providence General Foundation
  • The Cocoon House

“Through these significant donations, we aim to empower local charities that work tirelessly for the betterment of our community,” said Stillaguamish Tribal Chairperson Eric White in a statement. “Charities and non-profit organizations play a pivotal role in creating a thriving, inclusive, and resilient community. We’re pleased to be able to support their work through our contributions.”

The Tribe operates the Angel Of The Winds Casino Resort in Arlington, Washington, in the Seattle Metro area, on Tribal land.
