Boosted by two casinos moving into permanent facilities and a new temporary casino opening, casino revenue in Virginia saw a 29.7% year-over-year increase in November, rising from $63.6 million in 2024 to $82.4 million in 2025.
According to the latest report from the Virginia Lottery, Caesars Virginia, which opened its permanent casino in December 2024, saw the most significant year-over-year revenue increase, rising 70.5% from $19.8 million to $33.7 million. Hard Rock Bristol, which opened its permanent casino in the middle of November 2024, also saw revenue rise in November, increasing 19.3% from $18.1 million to $21.6 million.
Rivers Casino Portsmouth, which generated the highest revenue in November 2024, saw an increase of 0.2% from $25.7 million to $25.8 million.
Boyd Gaming’s temporary casino in Norfolk, opened on November 6 and generated $1.4 million in revenue from its slots.
Statewide, slot revenue rose 27.9% in November, increasing from $47.9 million in 2024 to $61.2 million, and table games revenue increased 35.3% from $15.7 million to $21.2 million.
