Victor Blanco will join Scientific Games in 2022 as chief technology officer. The industry veteran will oversee tech strategy and support the company’s initiatives to develop gaming, lottery, sports betting and igaming.
“Victor’s innovative and strategic approach to both software and hardware design is a great fit for our Scientific Games leadership team,” said Scientific Games President and CEO, Barry Cottle. “We know that his leadership will ensure we are providing the most innovative games, systems and products for our partners and players.”
Blanco’s experience includes stints with HTC, Stern Pinball, and Microsoft, where he was on the team that developed the first Xbox console.

A 1997 graduate of Texas A&M, Blanco is currently the chief technology officer for Aristocrat Gaming, where he led technology strategy and worked on the company’s land-based gaming business. He also worked on Aristocrat’s expansion into social casino and casual games.
