Velvix, a slot machine manufacturer for land-based casinos owned by software developer XSGroup, has finalized an agreement with North American remote gaming server technology and interactive content provider ODDSworks. The collaboration will see Velvix’s land-based slot games offered to online casinos in the North American markets.
The press release announcing the partnership stated the two companies will initially target legal US online casino states New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, as well as sites in Québec. The joint venture will debut with a suite of six games, led by the launch title ‘Forgotten Treasures.’
Future expansion of the partnership will expand the titles into additional regions in the Americas, like Mexico, Columbia, and Ontario, the release said.
The partnership is the latest in several deals for ODDSworks. In September, the company signed a deal with PDX Slots to distribute its content. The partnership will see PDX distribute its game portfolio, including both proprietary and third-party titles.
Launched by parent company XSG in 2021, Velvix has also been expanding its footprint recently, including signing a partnership with Jade Gaming in May 2023 to enter the Asian market, particularly Vietnam and the Philippines. The company also introduced two new slot machine games, West Wanted and Battle Mania, at the Chicken Ranch Casino in Jamestown, California, in July 2023.
Cyrus San, General Manager and Executive Producer at Velvix, said, “We are excited about ODDSworks’ nimble and quick-to-market execution, as well as their many decades of experience in the gaming industry.
Shridhar Joshi, CEO of ODDSworks, commented on the deal, saying, “Velvix’s games are in line with our growth strategy that focuses on expanding our presence in each new domestic market. ODDSworks is pleased to provide world-class, best-of-breed differentiated slot games to our casino partners.”
ODDSworks EVP Steven De Mar added, “Velvix is a great company, as well as a business partner. We expect our close relationship to grow in the year to come; we are honored to have them as a business partner.”
