One of the seismic shifts in the gaming industry occurred in 2018, when the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act was repealed by Congress.

Suddenly, the floodgates for sports betting were flung open, and igaming emerged as a viable option for operators.

This year’s Global Gaming Expo, the 25th edition of the gaming industry’s premier convention, will reflect the industry’s relatively new interests in sports betting and igaming.

“There have been a lot of companies, whether they’re suppliers or operators, who have done business in other geographical regions of the world before PASPA was repealed,” says Korbi Carrison, RX USA Event Vice President, G2E.
