Reflecting recent upgrades and expansions and the formation of an enterprise group, Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino in Lemoore, CA, on the Santa Rosa Rancheria has changed its name to Tachi Palace Casino Resort.

The Tachi-Yokut tribe, owners and operators of Tachi Palace, has made significant investments in the property and community in the 37 years of its operation, having opened in 1983 as the 1,100-seat Southgate Bingo Palace.

In November 2018, the tribe debuted an 88,350-square-foot entertainment center featuring a state-of-the-art eight-screen movie theater, 30-lane bowling alley, 10-table billiards room, and video arcade. Earlier that year, they opened an 8,000-square-foot gas station and convenience store with 24 gas and diesel pumps and two electric charging stations. While located on the same property, the entertainment center and gas station initially operated independently from the hotel and casino and recently merged to form an official enterprise group.

“By creating this enterprise group, we are better able to manage the entire property from a customer service, an maintenance aspect,” said Director of Marketing Rojelio Morales. “After combining the offerings and amenities into one group, it became appropriate to change our name from ‘Hotel and Casino’ to ‘Casino Resort.'”

Last year also brought many upgrades to the property, including the expansion of dining choices available at the casino, including the Market Place at Pork Chop Hill Buffet and the Asian-inspired PHO-Nominal Eats, along with a high-limit gaming area remodeled to house additional VIP slot experiences and on the main floor a cutting-edge roulette table, the first of its kind in any California casino. The outdoor entertainment area was also expanded by 4,000 square feet and 900 parking spaces were added.

“At Tachi Palace, we never rest on our laurels,” said Morales. “We are always aiming to offer our guests an amazing experience and will continue to do so.”
