The largest private collection of casino chips is among the items slated to be displayed at the Southern Nevada Casino Collectibles Club’s debut casino souvenirs show. Scheduled for Sept. 23-24 at the Gold Coast Casino in Las Vegas, the event will feature more than 30 dealers displaying vintage Vegas items and memorabilia.

Collectibles will include casino chips, tokens, dice, playing cards, slot cards and slot glass, and room keys.

“Show visitors will see so many examples of what Vegas used to be like when comps were king and casinos branded everything in sight,” said SNCCC President Jerry Vergatos in a statement. “They wanted their customers to take home these special items as valued reminders of the great time they had. Now, so many are hard to find.”

One of the featured items will be SNCCC member Gregg Fisher’s Guinness World Record collection of 2,222 casino chips and gaming tokens from different casinos.

The show runs 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 23-24 in Colorado Ballrooms L & K at the Gold Coast. Admission is $5 per day and includes a free goody bag.
