The current baseball season has been very, very good for Simplebet.

According to a release, the New York City-based supplier of in-play betting products has registered over 7 million bets in April and through the first half of May. Simplebet stated that figure is more than double the number of wagers year-over-year, while its handle and bets have increased more than 120% in the same period.

There also has been a 115% increase in unique users compared to the same period a year ago.

“We are delighted to see triple-digit growth in our baseball product across the first full month and a half of the season compared to last year, as the betting public continues to engage with the excitement generated via micro-betting,” said Simplebet CEO Chris Bevilacqua in a statement. “With plenty of fantastic storylines to follow over the coming year, we expect to see our growth continue as the public becomes more educated on our wagering markets and are excited to see what the 2024 MLB season has in store for us.”

Simplebet’s live markets are available through 12 North American brands, including DraftKings, Caesars, and Hard Rock, and local partners such as Arkansas’ BetSaracen and Ontario’s theScore Bet.
