Las Vegas-based Scientific Games Corp. announced an agreement Monday to place the company’s video lottery terminal operating system at 20 Pennsylvania truck stop locations in partnership with Second State Gaming.
The system will go live in the spring and cover 100 VLTs at 20 truck stops, pending gaming licensing approval. Pennsylvania recently signed legislation allowing a major expansion of gambling throughout the state, to include truck stops and airports.
Scientific Games’ Bally MultiConnect system provides VLT management reporting tools for multi-site gaming operations. The agreement with Second State Gaming is the company’s first systems contract awarded in the Pennsylvania new truck stop route market.
“We are proud of our long-standing gaming partnerships in the state of Pennsylvania, and we are very excited to be the first to enter this new market with our systems offering,” said Bob Parente, senior vice president and chief revenue officer at Scientific Games.
