SBC North America announces speakers for igaming panels

SBC North America Thursday announced the igaming executives and experts slated to appear at the 2022 SBC North America Summit. The speakers will be part of the “iGaming Americas” track at the summit, scheduled for July 12-14 at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, New Jersey.

“The ‘iGaming Americas’ panel is an exciting opportunity to listen to some of the most respected professionals in the industry,” said SBC VP of Growth and Strategy, Americas, Sue Schneider in a statement, “touching upon major topics such as the opening of more iGaming markets in North America, the Ontario gambling regulation, and the increasing need to innovate and build solid relationships with players.”

Only July 13, the schedule is packed with panels focused on issues pertinent to igaming markets.

Speakers scheduled to participate in the day’s first panel about player relationship-building strategies include:

  • BetMGM VP Gaming Matt Sunderland
  • PlayStar CEO Per Hellberg
  • Galaxy Gaming President and CEO Todd Cravens
  • Incubeta Managing Director for US Ed Camargo

Dan Phillips, NEL Advisory CEO and Founder, will be the moderator.

“Converging Worlds of iGaming and Sports Betting,” moderated by Playtech Vice President, U.S. Business Operations, Jonathan Doubilet, will feature:

  • Luisa Woods, vice president, marketing gaming and entertainment for Delaware North)
  • Wondr Nation President and CEO Anika Howard
  • Patrick Keane, CEO of the Action Network

A fireside chat with FanDuel CEO Amy Howe will highlight the afternoon schedule.

Also, Amanda Brewer, Kindred Group Canada Country Manager, will host the “Online in Ontario” panel. Panelists include:

  • Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment President, Digital Gaming, Richard Roberts
  • Oren Cohen Shwartz, CEO, Delasport
  • Bragg Gaming Group CCO Chris Looney
  • Will Whitehead, mkodo associate director

Tribal-led igaming in Michigan will be the focus of a panel featuring David Murley, Michigan Gaming Control Board Deputy Director, Online Gaming & Legal Affairs Division; Aspire Global US Managing Director, Quincy Raven; and Jim Wise, Firekeepers Casino VP of Marketing & Sports.

The importance of innovation for American-centric game studios session will be led by Playtables.com Owner Andy Mound. Featured panelists are:

  • Play’n GO CCO Magnus Olsson
  • Daniel Sahl, director of the UNLV Center for Gaming Innovation
  • Light & Wonder VP Game of Game Development Rob Procter
