Construction walls have gone up to make way for the Sahara Las Vegas’ new restaurant row, slated to open next summer. The expansion is part of the Sahara’s ongoing $150 million transformation and will include upgrades to its Strip-facing exterior.
Located along the casino’s west side facing Las Vegas Boulevard, the expansion will include the addition of four new restaurants. The existing footprint, which currently includes the Beers & Bets and Club 101, will be extended out toward the Strip, offering larger indoor/outdoor patio spaces.
New additions include the first west coast location of Philadelphia-based Chickie’s and Pete’s sports bar and crab house. Chickie’s and Pete’s will serve as the home base of Sahara’s William Hill sportsbook, which will temporarily move to the main casino during construction.
Chef Guoming Xin, who joined the Sahara’s culinary team earlier this year to oversee the resort’s Chinese offerings, will launch the Noodle Den, featuring northern Chinese dishes from a demonstration kitchen.
Two additional venues, an Italian restaurant and a new culinary concept, will be revealed later next year to round out the resort’s restaurant row.
“We are continuing to expand our roster of culinary concepts by bringing in new-to-market brands,” said Anthony Olheiser, vice president of food and beverage.
