Rhode Island casino revenue down 0.4% year-over-year in March

Combined net revenue for Rhode Island’s two land-based casinos, Bally’s Twin River and Bally’s Tiverton, reached $59.3 million in March, down 0.4% from the previous year’s $59.5 million.

According to the reports published by the Rhode Island Lottery, video lottery terminals accounted for $48.4 million of net revenue, declining from $48.7 million, a 0.6% year-over-year decrease. Table games contributed $10.9 million, up 0.5% from $10.8 million.

Bally’s Twin River Casino reported $45.1 million, down 1.1% from $45.6 million reported in the previous year. Net revenue for video lottery terminals fell 1.8% from $37 million to $36.3 million and table games grew 1.9% from $8.6 million to $8.7 million.

Bally’s Tiverton Casino experienced a 1.7% increase from $13.9 million to $14.1 million. Video lottery terminals recorded $12 million in net revenue, up 3% from $11.6 million, and table games were down 4.6%, dropping from $2.2 million to $2.1 million.
