Peter & Sons, the online casino game development studio, has announced their expansion in Ontario (as well as in the Malta Gaming Authority), via a new partnership with Rootz.
Rootz, offering a range of casino gaming opportunities from online slots to live casino action, obtained their license from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario in January 2023.
Peter & Sons’s games are now featured on Rootz’s most popular online casino platforms – Wildz, Caxino, Wheelz, Spinz and Chipz.
“Integrating their games into our portfolio aligns perfectly with our strategy to offer diverse and high-quality gaming options to our users,” said Sam Brown, CEO of Rootz, in a statement.
We’ll see what they offer on the Rootz platform, but Peter & Sons this month rolled out Barbarossa Revenge, a 5×3-grid slot game offering 243 ways to win and Mutagenes, a 6-reel cascading slot with 4,069 ways to win; players win up to 12,000x their stake by way of the infection feature, free spins, increasing win multipliers, and expanding wilds.
“Partnering with Rootz extends our presence in the MGA and Ontario licensed markets,” said Yann Bautista, commercial director of Peter & Sons. “This collaboration allows us to bring our creative and engaging games to a larger audience, and we are confident that players will love the unique experiences our games offer.”
In July, Peter & Sons announced an agreement with igaming aggregator Relax Gaming, giving them access to the UK, Denmark, Sweden, and Greece markets, as well as Ontario and MGA. Relax was one of the first aggregators and suppliers of content to be licensed in the Ontario market, in March 2022.
