The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has given software developer Roxor Gaming a full online casino license, allowing it to enter the state’s online gambling market after the British company, now part of Aristocrat Leisure Limited, had operated with interim authorization since December.
Roxor Gaming has more than 150 online casino games in its portfolio, including Tiki Island, Secrets of the Phoenix and Paper Wins.
Roxor was founded in 2019 by former Gamesys chairman and co-founder Noel Hayden and was bought by Aristocrat Leisure Limited in September, allowing Aristocrat to leverage Roxor’s technology and more than 20 years of igaming development expertise.
“I am delighted to see this deal signed as I feel it brings together two great companies that complement each other perfectly,” Hayden said.
Aristocrat has several partnerships with Pennsylvania casinos, including BetMGM, FanDuel and Borgata, to supply its slot catalog.
