Pennsylvania: Igaming surge pushes overall casino revenue up 11.6% year-over-year in January

Pennsylvania’s casinos reported $590.6 million in revenue from all forms of gaming in January, up 11.6% from January 2025, and $249.3 million of it from igaming.

Tax revenue, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported, was $250 million.

Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course in Grantville reported $111.4 million in January to lead all casinos, up 20.2%; Valley Forge Casino Resort reported $105.8 million, up 8.2% increase; and Rivers Casino Philadelphia generated $57.2 million, 11.6%.

Statewide, revenue from slots was $189.1 million, up 0.7%. Parx Casino led all operators in slot revenue, generating $29.2 million, down 2.5% decrease. Wind Creek Bethlehem’s slot revenue was $21.1 million, down  0.7%, while Rivers Casino Pittsburgh generated $20.8 million, up 1.1%.

For igaming, Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course generated $96.2 million, up 20.7%. Valley Forge Casino Resort reported $67.7 million, up 16.6%, while Rivers Casino Philadelphia produced $40.1 million, up 13.2%.

Sports betting revenue was $71.4 million from a handle of $782.4 million. Valley Forge Casino Resort generated $27.6 million from a handle of $276.3 million. Hollywood Casino at the Meadows generated $22.7 million on a handle of $235.8 million, while Hollywood Casino York reported revenue of $5.6 million on a handle of $56.3 million.
