The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board Tuesday reported record yearly revenue of $6.17 billion in 2024, the first time the $6 billion mark was reached.
The increase, the board PGCB wrote in a release, was fueled by a 25 percent increase in igaming revenue to $2.18 billion.
Taxes accrued from all forms of gaming in the state were $2.66 billion, also a yearly record.
Even though revenue from its slot machines slightly declined in 2024 (down 2.8 percent), Parx Casino in Philadelphia led all Keystone state casinos with $386.2 million. Wind Creek Bethlehem posted slot revenue of $286.7 million in 2024, an increase of 0.57 percent, and Rivers Casino Pittsburgh reported revenue from slots of $262.9 million, a decrease of 1.62 percent.
Pennsylvania igaming revenue was led by Hollywood Casino at Penn National in Grantville, which generated $820.7 million, an increase of 15.2 percent. Valley Forge Casino resort reported $573.5 million, an increase of 46.1 percent and Rivers Casino Philadelphia generated revenue of $379.6 million, an increase of 11.5 percent.
Valley Forge Casino led all Pennsylvania casinos with sports betting revenue of $272.1 million, an increase of 16.5 percent. Hollywood Casino at the Meadows in Meadowland had sports betting revenue of $132.2 million, a 9.1 percent increase, and Hollywood Casino Morgantown generated $21.3 million, up 1.4 percent.
Table games revenue was $937.5 million statewide, and led by Wind Creek Bethlehem, with $248.3 million, a 2.9 percent increase. Parx Casino’s table game revenue reached $194.6 million, a drop of 3.7 percent, and Live Casino Philadelphia generated $106.8 million, down 1.5 percent.
