Passport Technology’s Board of Directors Tuesday announced the appointment of Diallo Gordon as CEO. Gordon is currently Passport’s chief product officer.

“Diallo’s entrepreneurial spirit, unparalleled industry knowledge, and vibrant personality will further propel Passport’s position as the fastest growing and leading innovator within casino payments, automation, and loyalty,” said Passport Technology Executive Chairman Scott Dowty in a statement. “Diallo is a proven leader, a distinguished technologist, proud veteran of the United States Air Force, and someone you simply want to be around.”

Before Passport, Gordon previously served as founder and CEO of Phi Gaming, which was acquired by Passport in 2021.

“Embracing servant-based leadership, this is a happy demotion where I work tirelessly for our employees and stakeholders, driving culture, talent, and company success, “Gordon said. “Passport’s three years of solid progress are just the beginning and I’m here to work.”

Previously, Gordon served in leadership roles, including executive vice president and general manager, for Everi. He also worked for Aristocrat Technologies and as a lab engineer for the Mississippi Gaming Commission and served with the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Department of Defense, and the Federal Aviation Administration.
