Three Rivers Casino Resort in Florence, Oregon, on Tuesday announced its Everi Cares Giving Module. Guests can donate remaining cents from vouchers to local charities at full-service kiosks.

Guests redeem their voucher, select a nonprofit, and the donation is processed instantly. All money donated goes directly to the selected organization.

“This is truly a win-win situation for everyone,” Three Rivers Casino Resort Director of Gaming Operations Rick Ray said in a statement. “When guests are gaming, they come for entertainment. That small amount of change at the end of a visit might not feel like much on its own, but when our guests come together, it can make a huge difference.”

Initial nonprofit partners for the Florence property include Florence Food Share and the Boys and Girls Club of Western Lane County, organizations that provide critical services to local families and youth.

As casinos across the country move to cashless gaming environments, the Everi Cares Giving Module offers a user-friendly option for guests who might otherwise leave small voucher balances unredeemed. In addition to supporting community nonprofits, the program helps reduce abandoned vouchers, improves efficiency on the gaming floor, and lowers coin handling costs.

“For years, Three Rivers has supported local charities through our foundation and community partnerships,” said Ray. “This program is just one more way we can give back, and it feels good knowing that something so simple can have such a positive impact.”

Food Share provides food assistance to people and families facing food insecurity throughout Western Lane County, while the Boys and Girls Club of Western Lane County offers after-school and youth development programs that support academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character development.

“With this support, Florence Food Share will purchase essential food to serve families for six months, stretching every dollar with volunteer power and community match,” said Florence Food Share Executive Director Colin Morgan. “When food donations vary, this funding fills the gap, ensuring local families have consistent access to healthy, culturally appropriate food.”

This program is active at ticket redemption kiosks at Three Rivers Casino Resort in Florence, which is owned and operated by the Confederated Tribes of the Coos, Lower Umpqua, and Siuslaw Indians.
