Three Rivers Casino Resort recently celebrated its 20th anniversary with team members for a Roaring 20’s event.
The casino resort in Florence, Oregon, is owned and operated by the Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians
“Three Rivers Casino is very welcoming and rewarding. Everyone is given the opportunity to grow,” said Director of Facilities Jesse Gardner, a twenty-year employee and tribal member. “My responsibilities have empowered me to become a better person and director daily.”
Teresa Spangler has worked with the casino since its inception and is also a member of the Confederated Tribes. Spangler started as a club representative and is now the director of guest services.
“I feel like I have lifelong friends that are like family; this includes team members and guests,” Spangler said. “Our goal is to create an environment you want to work in, and we have a lot of different areas for our team members to find their passion.”
Other 20-year employees include Andy Tidball, Rich Colton, Judy Jones, Debbie Miller, Sherry Meyer, Cliff Lupton, Jim Wilson, James Rensing, Mike Bones, Rob Bebee, Nelson Devera, Michael MacDuffee and Linda Fithian.
Three Rivers Casino is also adding a new gift shop and fitness center. Its BeachSide Bistro features an all-new menu, merging popular venues 101 Burger Bar and Mamma Mia into a single culinary destination.
Over the last two decades, the tribe’s Three Rivers Foundation has also awarded millions of dollars to hundreds of nonprofits in Western Oregon, including those in healthcare, education, food security and law enforcement.
