WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma, Tuesday announced an agreement with Lucas Oil Products for the naming rights of its new arena.
Lucas Oil Live, a 6,500-seat venue, is scheduled to open later this year.
“The Lucas Oil Live venue enhances the resort experience for our patrons and music fans alike as we welcome back live entertainment,” said WinStar World Casino and Resort General Manager Jack Parkinson in a statement. “Our guests will be able to enjoy an electric atmosphere in a venue that’s almost twice the capacity of our previous venue and offers added amenities that enhance the live entertainment experience. The sound and technical capabilities of this new venue enable us to continue attracting the industry’s most popular entertainers.”
The new venue is 250,000 square feet and will feature dedicated VIP, club, and suite seating. Features include the Session House Gastropub and two bars dedicated to concerts.
The venue also will have a flexible VIP lounge that can be sized to fit the needs of groups for concerts, events, and midweek meetings.
Lucas Oil Live replaces the resort’s Global Event Center, which was renovated in 2022 into a non-smoking gaming space.
“The continued evolution of the Lucas Oil brand is giving us the chance to form unique and exciting new partnerships, which is why we are thrilled to be working with WinStar World Casino and Resort,” said Lucas Oil President Morgan Lucas. “This opportunity presents us with a chance to reach new audiences of vehicle owners and drivers who can benefit from our products, and we are extremely proud to have the Lucas name associated with WinStar’s new events arena, an entertainment destination that will serve as host to some of the nation’s best live music and events.”
