Kiowa Casino Operations Authority, Kiowa Casino Enterprises, and the Kiowa Tribe has announced that Kiowa Casino Verden will close on Oct. 31.
Representatives with Kiowa Casino said the property has provided more than 13 years of dedicated service to the community.
“This decision was not made lightly, and we extend our deepest gratitude to our loyal guests, team members, and the Verden community for their unwavering support over the years,” a press release from Kiowa Casino said.
“We will always cherish the wonderful memories, connections and lasting relationships we’ve shared with our community. Thank you for your ongoing support for the past 13 years. We look forward to new economic development opportunities in the future.”
The Tribe still operates Kiowa Casino & Hotel in Devol, Oklahoma, which was described as the Tribe’s biggest property, and Kiowa Casino Carnegie. The Tribe also broke ground in November 2021 on Kiowa Casino Hobart, which the Tribe says is its first casino in Kiowa County.
Representatives say they hope the community will continue to visit the casino through its final weeks.
