Apache Lonestar Casino in Devol, Oklahoma, has unveiled expansion plans, set for completion by the end of the year, that will add more than 2,000 square feet of gaming space and expand the Lonestar Bar & Grill with additional seating and a revamped menu to cater to a wider range of tastes.

The casino houses 611 slot machines and six blackjack tables. With the expansion, the casino plans to add more gaming options, such as Texas Hold ‘em.

“Our goal has always been to provide our guests with an exceptional experience,” Kristopher Killsfirst, Manager of Apache Lonestar Casino, said in a press release. “This expansion reflects our commitment to continually improving our offerings and providing more variety and excitement for our guests.”

“The additional seating and menu options will ensure that our guests can enjoy a great meal as part of their visit to Apache Lonestar Casino,” General Manager Michael Spell said in the release.

While the casino, which opened in April, focuses on growth, its parent organization, the Apache Tribe of Oklahoma, recently faced challenges. The National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) issued a notice of violation against the tribe last year for failing to submit required financial audits and reports for several fiscal years at its Golden Eagle Casino and the now-closed Silver Buffalo Casino.
