Ohio casinos generated $82 million in revenue in June, up 0.5% year-over-year from the $81.6 million generated in June 2024, but down 10.5% from May’s $91.7 million.
The Ohio Casino Control Commission report showed Hollywood Columbus Casino as the top revenue generator, bringing in $23.6 million in June, a 0.7% increase from the $23.4 million generated in June 2024.
Jack Cleveland Casino saw the most significant percent increase year-over-year, with June generating $20.3 million, a 3.1% rise on what was reported the year prior.
Hollywood Toledo’s revenues increased 2.8% year-over-year to $18.7 million in June, up from $18.2 million in June 2024.
Hard Rock Cincinnati was the only casino to see a loss year-over-year, with revenue decreasing 3.8% from $20.2 million in June 2024 to $19.5 million in June 2025.
As Ohio land-based casinos see increasing revenue, Ohio residents may be able to play online casino games from their homes in the future, as Ohio lawmakers are pushing for the legalization of igaming in the state despite Governor Mike DeWine’s opposition.
