Ohio casinos recorded $79.6 million in revenue for January, up 2.3% year-over-year.
The figures, published by the Ohio Casino Control Commission, show that slots accounted for $59.1 million of the total, rising 7.1%, while table games revenue dropped 9.5% to $20.5 million.
Hollywood Columbus was the biggest revenue generator in January, and the only casino to report a year-over-year revenue decline. Revenue fell from to $21.9 million. Slot revenue increased 6.8% to $17.8 million, while table games revenue dropped 28.1% to $4.1 million.
Jack Cleveland had the highest year-over-year revenue increase, up 4.1% to $20.4 million. Slots revenue increased 6.8% to $12.4 million. Table games remained stable at $8 million.
Hollywood Toledo was up 3.6% to $19.1 million. Slots revenue was up 5.4% to $16.4 million, while table games revenue was down 6.6% to $2.7 million. Hard Rock Cincinnati increased 3.3% to $18.3 million, with slots revenue up 8.5% to $12.5 million and table games revenue declining 6.4% to $5.8 million.
