The Ohio Casino Control Commission reported that the four commercial casinos licensed by the state generated in April revenues of $88.5 million, down 3.4% from $83.45 million in April 2024.
Table game revenue across the four venues was $23.2 million and slots gaming revenue contributed $66.4 million. April figures bring Ohio’s casinos’ year-to-date revenues to $342.7 million, up 1.6% compared to the $336.9 million revenues generated in the corresponding period in 2024.
Hollywood Columbus was the biggest revenue generator, recording $25.2 million in gaming revenue, while Hollywood Toledo was at the bottom of the list with $20.7 million in revenue.
The Ohio Casino Control Commission also reported that the state’s sportsbooks generated revenues of $73.7 million in April, up 1.3% compared to $72.7 million in April 2024. While online sports betting generated $74.1 million in revenues, Ohio’s retail sports betting sector lost $367,110.
Alongside four licensed casinos, Ohio is home to 14 sportsbook operators, made up of racinos, casinos, sports organizations and mobile betting operators. at $859.9 million, the state ranked fifth behind New York, Nevada, New Jersey and Pennsylvania for 2025 first-quarter revenues.
