There’s still time to nominate for 10 Women Rising in Gaming, a collaboration between CDC Gaming and Global Gaming Women. Recognizing the achievements of women in the gaming industry, nominations close July 25 with honorees notified on August 15.
Nominations are welcome from across the gaming landscape, including, but not limited to, casino operators brick-and-mortar and online, gaming manufacturers, lotteries, sports betting organizations, suppliers, law firms, and marketing agencies that support the industry.
This is the fourth edition of 10 Women Rising in Gaming. Past honorees include Brooke Fiumara, the co-founder and co-CEO of OPTX; RX/Reed Exhibitions Vice President of Events Korbi Carrison; and Grainne Hurst, CEO of the Betting and Gaming Council in the United Kingdom.
To be considered for 10 Women Rising in Gaming: Class of 2025, nominees must meet the minimum criteria:
- Industry experience: Nominees must have at least five years of experience in the gaming industry.
- Qualifying attributes: Nominees must demonstrate excellence in three of these six categories:
- Achievement: Demonstrates exceptional skill, talent, and accomplishment within the gaming industry. This may include significant contributions to their employer, team, or the broader community.
- Leadership: Exhibits strong leadership qualities, such as serving as a role model, inspiring colleagues, promoting diversity and inclusion, or advocating for meaningful change within the industry.
- Impact & Contributions: Has made a meaningful and measurable effect on the gaming industry through innovation, strategic initiatives, or contributions that have advanced the field or organization.
- Overcoming Adversity: Has overcome personal or professional obstacles, showing resilience, determination, and perseverance in pursuit of excellence.
- Community Engagement: Actively involved in community or industry service, including mentoring, volunteering, charitable efforts, or advocacy for social causes that extend beyond the nominees’ professional responsibilities.
- Longevity & Consistency: Demonstrates a consistent career-long record of excellence and dedication, maintaining high performance and contributing meaningfully to the industry over time.
We encourage submissions (nominate someone here) that reflect diverse talents within the field, from entrepreneurs to professionals at organizations of all sizes. 10 Women Rising in Gaming aims to honor leadership, innovation, and dedication that are shaping the future of gaming.
Honorees will be recognized at the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas in October during CDC Gaming’s Day Zero party on Sunday, October 5.
