The New Hampshire Lottery reports that DraftKings, the state’s exclusive sports-betting operator, collected $72.8 million in wagers across its online and retail sportsbooks in September, up 8.8 percent from the $66.8 million it collected in September 2023.

Revenue saw more substantial year-over-year growth. At $9.3 million, the total marks a 49.9 percent increase from last year’s $6.2 million.

DraftKings’ online sportsbook dominated, collecting about 88 percent or $64.3 million of the total handle. More significantly, online revenue reached almost $9.2 million, representing 99 percent of the state’s total. The operator’s three retail sportsbooks in Dover, Manchester and Seabrook collected $72,024 in revenue from an $8.4 million handle.

Month-over-month comparisons revealed a 173.7 percent increase in revenue from the $33.8 million DraftKings collected in August. At the same time, handle rose 47.4 percent month-on-month, with September marking the beginning of the NFL season. The New Hampshire Lottery has predicted a record-breaking NFL for the state this year.

September’s totals resulted in almost $4 million in state contributions, the first time this figure has surpassed $3 million since January. Around 28 percent of  revenue supports the state’s education. Here is the full fiscal year 2025 revenue report.
