The New Hampshire Lottery has reported a record-breaking fiscal year, with sales reaching an all-time high of $631 million, up 5 percent from last fiscal year.

The lottery generated a record $200.7 million in revenue, a 7 percent year-on-year increase. Over the past five years, the lottery’s sales have increased by around 62 percent, or $240 million.

“We certainly hit the mark this year!” New Hampshire Lottery Executive Director Charlie McIntyre said in press release. “With the introduction of exciting new games, record high numbers from Tri-State Megabucks, new sports betting opportunities and more, we are confident 2025 will be even more successful.”

The lottery reported that almost all games saw higher sales year-on-year. Tri-State Megabucks sales nearly doubled after a record-breaking $13.9 million jackpot in April.

According to the lottery’s website, about 28 percent of the revenue generated from lottery tickets supports schools across the state. Meanwhile, around 60 percent is paid out in prizes, and the remaining money supports retailers, cost of sales and administrative expenses.

Since its inception in 1964, the New Hampshire Lottery has contributed more than $2.85 million to public education and paid out more than $5.4 million in prizes and other costs.

“You can always bet on the New Hampshire Lottery to win big for public education!” Governor Chris Sununu said in a press release.

The lottery announced this year that sports betting has contributed $100 million to education over its first four years of operation.
