EZ Baccarat is extending its international reach with distribution agreements taking effect soon for Latin America, the European Union, Australia, and New Zealand.

Equipment manufacturer Cammegh Ltd. and gaming consultant and former gaming executive Roger Tomás both received distribution rights from Talisman Group LLC of Las Vegas, creators of the no-commission table game. Cammegh will distribute the game in the European Union, which has 27 member states, plus Australia and New Zealand. Tomás will distribute the game in Latin America. Both agreements take effect Sept. 9.

EZ Baccarat, created by Robin Powell and Francisco “TJ” Tejeda of Talisman Group, placed its first two tables in 2008. California has been its largest market, with more than 530 tables reported there earlier this year. The game has the same drawing rules as regular baccarat, but doesn’t collect the 5 percent commission on a winning Bank hand. To make up for that, a Bank bet pushes when Bank wins with a 3-card 7. EZ Baccarat offers two side bets: Dragon 7, which pays 40-to-1 when the Bank wins with a three-card 7, and Panda 8, which pays 25-to-1 when Player wins with a three-card 8. In all, Talisman has more than 830 EZ Baccarat games installed at more than 140 casinos.

Bill Cammegh, founder of Cammegh Ltd., made his first roulette wheel in 1989 in a garage in Kent, England. Today, two sons – Managing Director Richard Cammegh and Sales Director Andrew Cammegh – oversee a team of 30 that supplies manual and automatic roulette wheels, table-game displays, and other products for casinos around the world.

“EZ Baccarat offers significantly enhanced productivity to the casino, no matter the table limits,” Andrew Cammegh said in a statement. He said Cammegh’s display system will enhance players’ enjoyment of the game.

Tomás is a gaming distributor and CEO of Interra Latin, headquartered in Panama. He is on the board of directors of TTH Gaming, a consulting firm he founded in 2010. Before that, he held executive positions with Sabia Corp. and CIRSA. “I believe my experience, combined with the tremendous potential of EZ Baccarat, will help grow this market,” Tomás said in a statement announcing the distribution rights.

In June, Galaxy Gaming announced that it had secured EZ Baccarat distribution rights for the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. That agreement also takes effect Sept. 9.
