The Nevada Resort Association’s (NRA) Board of Directors elected its incoming slate of officers by naming John Maddox, senior vice president of government relations and development at Caesars Entertainment, as chair for the 2025-2026 term.
Red Rock Resorts’s Senior Vice President of Public Policy and Communications Michael Britt was elected to serve as Board vice chair. Paul Anderson, senior vice president of industry and government affairs at Boyd Gaming, was reelected as treasurer, and NRA President & CEO Virginia Valentine was reelected to serve as secretary.
The Association, which represents 75 hotel-resorts across the state, welcomed the addition of Mesquite Gaming to its membership.
“From creating jobs to generating vital tax revenue, the resort industry plays a pivotal role in Nevada’s economy,” Maddox said. “While we are a critical economic driver, we are also dedicated community partners who take great pride in strengthening our communities through charitable giving. It’s a privilege to lead the Nevada Resort Association, and I’m deeply grateful to work alongside passionate colleagues committed to ensuring we continue that momentum and nurture sustained growth for the entire state.”
