Casino Fandango in Carson City, Nevada, on Monday sais it will partner with Boomer’s Sportsbook. The property will debut the Joe Asher-founded sportsbook September 1 as Nevada’s first independent sportsbook operator in Carson City.
A ribbon-cutting and grand opening celebration will take place September 4, with Nevada Lt. Governor Stavros S. Anthony and Carson City Mayor Lori Bagwell scheduled to attend.
“We’re bringing something truly different to Northern Nevada — an independent sportsbook that combines the excitement of live betting with the fairness and flexibility today’s players want,” Casino Fandango General Manager Matt Wetzel said in a statement. “Partnering with Boomer’s means our guests will enjoy a betting experience that’s authentic, not corporate.”
This is Boomer’s Sportsbook first venue in Northern Nevada. According to a news release, Boomer’s Sportsbook is “dedicated to bringing Nevadans a unique betting experience backed by its player-first philosophy and fair pricing.”
Boomer’s also has launched sportsbook in Elko, Nevada, at The Commercial; in Las Vegas at Ellis Island; and in Henderson, Nevada, at Casino Valle Verde.
“Casino Fandango has long been the premier casino in Nevada’s state capital, and we’re thrilled to partner with them to bring Boomer’s Sportsbook to Carson City,” said Asher. “Together, we will deliver an unmatched customer experience for guests and sports fans across the Carson–Reno area.”
Casino Fandango patrons will be able to:
- Place bets in person or register on-site for the Boomer’s mobile app.
- Take advantage of Boomer’s deposit match promotion — up to $250 in bonus bets for new users.
- Have -105 pro football spreads on every regular season game.
Boomer’s Sportsbook was licensed by the Nevada Gaming Commission this summer.
