Nevada: Atlantis Casino Resort Spa donates $250,000 for aquatics and fitness center in Reno

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Nevada, Thursday announced a $250,000 donation to the City of Reno’s new Moana Springs Community Aquatics and Fitness Center. This donation will be used to purchase equipment and furniture for the facility’s fitness center and multi-use rooms.

Atlantis CEO John Farahi presented the donation at Thursday’s meeting of Reno’s city council.

The Moana Springs Community Aquatics and Fitness Center, scheduled to open in the summer of 2024, will be a 52,000-square-foot facility featuring an Olympic-size indoor competition pool, a multi-use indoor recreation pool, and an outdoor soaking pool. The facility will also house a 5,000-square-foot fitness center, locker rooms, and multi-use rooms.
