NeoGames S.A. has announced that it has “significantly expanded” its reach in Canada with the launch of its premium e-instant games with Atlantic Lottery Corporation.
Unlike in Ontario, which has an open, regulated, gambling market, Atlantic Lottery is owned by the four regional provincial governments: New Brunswick Lotteries and Gaming Corporation, Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation, Prince Edward Island Lotteries Commission, and Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Net proceeds go back to hospitals, schools, roads, arenas, and social programs in the region.
Atlantic Lottery currently offers a variety of digital entertainment through its alc.ca platform and is the largest e-instant game operator in Canada.
NeoGames S.A. is a technology-driven innovator of ilottery and igaming solutions for regulated lotteries and gaming operators. Atlantic Lottery is NeoGames’s second lottery customer in the country (Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis is the other).
A statement yesterday said Atlantic Lottery will gain access to a rich stream of content created by NeoGames Studio. The company says this is the first pure digital-content partnership in Canada.
“The partnership is our first content-only deal in Canada and it underscores our commitment to providing advanced solutions that meet the unique needs of our lottery customers.” said Hili Shakked, managing director of NeoGames Studio.
“We’re confident that our range of innovative games, such as Desert Fantasy, winner of the 2023 EGR North America Award for ‘Best New Game,’ will enhance AL’s online footprint and attract new audiences, supporting the company’s growth in the ilottery market. It is a partnership designed to help AL maximize profitability and proceeds to good causes, while also providing players in Atlantic Canada with the best possible gaming experience.”
The two sides will work together to roll out future games and technological enhancements.
NeoGames S.A.’s subsidiary Btobet, a sports-betting-technology supplier, has regulatory approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
