NeoGames Wednesday announced the appointment of Motti Gil as chief financial officer effective August 1. The appointment is subject to certain regulatory approvals.

Gil succeeds Raviv Adler, who steps down effective July 31 to pursue another opportunity. Gil and Radler will work together during the transition.

The personnel change comes after Aristocrat announced in May the acquisition of the Israel-based online-gaming provider for approximately $1 billion.

Gil has more than 20 years of global and financial experience. He has served as CFO of Aspire Global since 2016, including five years when it was a publicly listed company prior to its acquisition by NeoGames

Before working at Aspire, Gil was CFO of GoNet Systems, a wireless technology company, and worked with Ernst & Young.

“Motti Gil has been with the company for seven years with much of that time spent as the CFO of the publicly listed Aspire Global Group prior to the merger last year,” said NeoGames CEO Moti Malul in a statement. “He has continually demonstrated exceptional financial acumen and leadership skills throughout his tenure. He remains instrumental in overseeing critical financial operations and has strong relationships with key stakeholders. Motti is the ideal candidate to step into this role at this time.”
