Backed by new and expanded casinos, Nebraska casino revenue was $21.9 million in September, up 22.8% year-over-year from $17.9 million in September 2024.
The latest report from the Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission showed that two casinos reported double-digit revenue gains. The Grand Island Casino had the greatest increase, with revenue rising 38.8% year-over-year to $4.4 million. This was followed by WarHorse Casino Omaha, with revenue rising to $8.1 million, the highest of the five, and up 29.6% year-over-year.
Harrah’s Columbus was the only casino to see a year-over-year loss, with revenue dropping 2.7% to just less than $2 million. WarHorse Casino Lincoln saw revenue remain mostly stable with a decline of 0.3% to $6.44 million from $6.43 million.
Lake Mac Casino, which opened in August, reported $527,419 in revenue for the month, with slots making up 81% of revenue.
Slot revenue in Nebraska reached $18.9 million in September, a 19.6% year-over-year increase from $15.8 million. Table games saw a double-digit increase of 11.3% from $1.6 million to $18.3 million, and electronic table games increased 15.5% from $540,886 to $624,576.
