Missouri casinos generated $161.4 million in revenue in June, up 5% from the $154.7 million collected in June 2024, but down 9.1% from May.
June also brought an end to the Missouri Gaming Commission’s fiscal year, where casinos brought in $1.91 billion, 1% more than the $1.89 billion generated in fiscal year 2024.
Ameristar Casino Resort Spa St. Charles was the most significant revenue generator in the latest month, collecting $25.1 million, up 1% year-on-year. The only other casino to bring in over $20 million was River City Casino Hotel adding $21.5 million.
Horseshoe St. Louis saw the most significant revenue growth by percentage, increasing by 24% from $11 million to $13.7 million. Harrah’s Kansas City’s revenue jumping 22% to $15.3 million.
Argosy Casino & Hotel saw revenues decline by 7%, while Bally’s Kansas City and St. Jo Frontier both posted 5% declines.
Century Casino & Hotel Cape Girardeau, which was down 1% in June, recently announced a deal with BetMGM to allow the online sportsbook operator to launch its platform in the state when sports betting goes live this year.
