With the NFL season kicking off this week, MGM Resorts International and BetMGM are launching a responsible gambling campaign across nine NFL stadiums on game days to promote safe and responsible gambling practices, featuring GameSense materials, which are also to be featured on table games at MGM Resorts properties nationwide.

MGM Resorts and BetMGM also launched a similar campaign last year as some of the first gaming operators to promote responsible gaming through marketing in NFL stadiums. The campaign will be rolled out in the same nine stadiums, including:

  • Acrisure Stadium (Pittsburgh Steelers)
  • Allegiant Stadium (Las Vegas Raiders)
  • Empower Field at Mile High (Denver Broncos)
  • Ford Field (Detroit Lions)
  • GHEA Field at Arrowhead Stadium (Kansas City Chiefs)
  • M&T Bank Stadium (Baltimore Ravens)
  • MetLife Stadium (New York Jets)
  • Nissan Stadium (Tennessee Titans)
  • State Farm Stadium (Arizona Cardinals)

“We’re excited to bring responsible gaming initiatives directly to fans in these NFL venues again this season,” Rhea Loney, BetMGM’s Chief Compliance Officer, said in a press release.

The release also revealed that the companies are continuing their partnership with the American Gaming Association to promote Responsible Gaming Education Month in September. The campaign originated in 1998 as Responsible Gaming Education Week before it expanded into a month-long campaign in 2022.

“Collaboration is integral to strengthening our collective responsibility efforts,” said Joe Maloney, AGA Senior Vice President of Strategic Communications.

BetMGM recently unveiled several new features for its app, designed to enhance the sports betting experience this NFL season. Features include exclusive Angstrom-powered betting markets, a new bet slip, Smart Stats and more.
