Las Vegas-based Maverick Gaming announced Monday it was acquiring e-gads! LLC, a 20-year-old company that supplies the gaming industry with casino interiors, custom signage and lighting, and audio/visual systems.

Financial terms were not disclosed, and the acquisition will allow Maverick to move forward to building a cohesive brand for its casinos nationwide.

“Over the next several months, Maverick will start to rebrand the 19 card rooms we own in Washington and consolidate that portfolio into four distinct brands:  Maverick Casino, Aces Poker, Dragon Tiger Casino and Macau Legend Casino,” Maverick CEO Eric Persson said in a statement.

Privately held Maverick has been one of the most active casino operators in the acquisition market over the past year.

The company acquired its 19th card-room casino in Washington in October and three casinos in Colorado in the Denver area in December. Maverick also owns four casinos in Nevada, two in Elko and two in Wendover, and agreed earlier this month to purchase the Eldorado Shreveport in Louisiana from Eldorado Resorts for $230 million.

“We will also rebrand our assets in Nevada, Colorado, and Louisiana,” said Maverick COO Justin Beltram.

Signs produced by e-gads! feature proprietary processes including sculpting, mold-making, metals, acrylics, and glass and have been engaged by every major slot machine manufacturing company. The company has more than 150 employees and occupies a 150,000-square-foot facility in Las Vegas.

The acquisition is expected to close by the end of the first quarter of this year.
