Commercial casinos in Massachusetts generated $95.7 million in in revenue in September, a 3.9% year-over-year increase from $92.1 million.
The latest report from the Massachusetts Gaming Commission showed that revenue at all three of the state’s commercial casinos increased year-over-year.
Encore Boston Harbor casinos generated the highest revenue in September, with revenue totaling $59.1 million, up 2.5% from the $57.7 million generated in August 2024. Slot revenue rose 8.1% from $32.6 million to $35.2 million, while table game revenue fell 4.8% from $25.1 million to $23.9 million.
The Plainridge Park Casino, which only offers slots, recorded the highest revenue increase of 9%, rising from $13.1 million to $14.3 million.
The MGM Springfield casino saw revenue rise 6.3% from $20.9 million to $22.3 million. Table games revenue rose 2.5% from $4.2 million to $4.3 million, and slots revenue rose 7.3% from $16.8 million to $18 million.
Statewide, table game revenue fell 3.7% from $29.2 million to $28.1 million, while slots revenue rose 7.5% from $62.8 million to $67.6 million.
