Massachusetts’ casino revenue hits $92 million in February, down 1.5% year-over-year

Massachusetts’ three commercial casinos recorded $92 million in revenue last month, down 1.5% year-over-year.

The figures published by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission show that slots accounted for $65.4 million of the combined total, up 3.8%, while table games generated $26.6 million, down 12.6%.

Encore Boston Harbor reported the highest revenue for the month, recording $56.3 million, down 5%. Slots at the casino generated $33.9 million, up 3.3%, while table games declined 15.4% to $22.4 million.

MGM Springfield had the second-highest revenue for February, up 6.9% to $22.4 million. Slots were up 7% to $18.2 million, and table games increased 6.5% to $4.1 million.

Plainridge Park, which only has slots, reported $13.3 million, up 1%.
