Marker Trax on Thursday promoted three key executives: Jordan Katz to Senior Director of Client Success; William Pfeffer to Vice President of Operations, and Michelle Basa to Director of IT Operations.
“These promotions highlight the depth of talent within our team and the impact these leaders have on Marker Trax’s continued success,” Marker Trax President Charlie Skinner said in a statement “Jordan, William, and Michelle each bring unique expertise and a commitment to operational excellence that strengthens our ability to serve our partners, advance our strategic priorities, and scale responsibly.”
Pfeffer joined Marker Trax after a career in public accounting, corporate finance, and management consulting, including five years with KPMG and leadership roles in a Fortune 100 organization. He’s also worked for Deloitte’s Finance & Performance practice.
As Senior Director of Finance, Pfeffer strengthened financial oversight, operational planning, and performance reporting across the organization. He will lead day-to-day operations with a focus on supporting continued growth, enhancing client delivery, expanding product and service offerings, and maintaining high standards of execution and service quality.
“Marker Trax is at an exciting stage of growth, and strong operational alignment is critical to delivering on our strategy,” said Pfeffer. “I look forward to enhancing execution, strengthening accountability, and helping the organization scale effectively while continuing to exceed our clients’ expectations.”
Katz brings extensive operational experience across the operator and manufacturing sides of the gaming industry, with a focus on slot performance optimization and electronic table game strategy.
Prior to joining Marker Trax, Katz held leadership roles with Interblock Gaming and Station Casinos, directing slot operations, managing capital expenditures, optimizing floor performance, and partnering with executive teams to drive financial results. His experience working directly with casino operators across North America provides insight into game performance and revenue optimization.
“Throughout my career, I’ve been focused on delivering measurable results for operators,” said Katz. “At Marker Trax, we have an opportunity to combine operational insight with innovative financial technology that directly supports casino performance. I’m excited to take on this expanded role and continue helping our partners maximize value while maintaining the highest standards of customer experience.”
Basa has been promoted from Senior Project Manager. Basa will provide strategic and operational leadership across the company’s technology environment, overseeing IT infrastructure, vendor-managed services, incident response, change management, and certification environments.
“Marker Trax has built a strong foundation focused on compliance, security, and operational excellence,” said Basa. “I’m excited to step into this role and continue strengthening our technology infrastructure, enhancing system reliability, and supporting the teams that deliver value to our customers every day. As we scale, maintaining stability and transparency across IT operations will remain a top priority.”
