Maine casino revenue up 10.3 percent year-over-year in January

Casino gaming revenue in Maine reached just more than $13 million in January, a year-over-year increase of 10.3 percent compared to January 2024, when casinos generated $11.8 million.

According to the Maine Gambling Control Unit report, Hollywood Casino produced $5 million, up from $4.2 million last year, and Oxford Casino generated $7.9 million in net revenue in January, up from $7.5 million reported the previous year.

Hollywood Casino produced $1 million in net revenue for table games, a 29.3 percent increase from January 2024, and Oxford Casino generated more than $1.1 million, a 21.3 percent decrease from the reported $1.5 million in January 2024.

Slot games reported a similar trend, with Hollywood Casino reaching more than $4 million in net revenue, a year-over-year rise of 16.8 percent, and Oxford Casino producing $6.7 million, a 12.2 percent year-over-year increase.

Maine’s commercial casino revenue also increased compared to December 2024 figures. In December, net revenue reached $12.4 million, with slot and table revenue staying relatively the same.
