Maine casino revenue up 1% year-over-year in December

Maine’s two commercial casinos, Hollywood Casino and Oxford Casino, recorded a combined $12.6 million in December, up 1% from last year.

The figures, published by the Maine Gambling Control Unit, slots statewide generated $10.8 million, up 2.5%, while table games declined 7.7% to $1.8 million.

Hollywood Casino reported revenue up 4.5% to $5 million. Slot revenue was up 8.6% to $4.4 million and table games revenue was down 17.2% to $634,246.

Oxford Casino generated the highest revenue of the two, recording $7.5 million, down 1.3%. Slot revenue was down 1.3% to $6.36 million, while table game revenue was down 1.5% to $1.1 million.
