Maine casino revenue up 1.9% year-over-year in March

Maine’s two commercial casinos, the Hollywood Casino and Oxford Casino, have yielded $14.3 million in combined net revenue for March, up 1.9% from the $14.1 million in March 2024.

The Maine Gambling Control Unit also revealed that net revenue from the Hollywood Casino amounted to $5.7 million, rising from $5.5 million, a year-over-year increase of 4.8%, while the Oxford Casino contributed $8.6 million, down 5.4% from $9 million.

Slot revenue from the Hollywood Casino totaled $4.8 million in March, up 7.2% year-over-year from $4.5 million. Table game revenue declined in March, dropping 7.1% from $968,047 to $903,868.

Oxford Casino reported $7.2 million in net slot revenue for March, decreasing from $7.5 million, a 4% year-over-year decline. Net revenue for table games suffered a 4% year-over-year decrease, dropping from $1.5 million to $1.3 million, a 12% decline.

March’s casino revenue also was up compared to February, withcomb ined revenue rising from $10 million to $14.3 million, a month-over-month increase of 43%.
